Instructions for using CADIVI’s cables in bulding or house
12 Low- smoke, halogen-free flame- retardant cables CXE/LSF (Fig.15) : concentric stranded copper conductor, flame-retardant XLPE insulated, 1 or 2 , 3, 4 cores, low smoke-halogen free HDPE sheathed. When conventional cables burn, they may emit smoke, halogen and toxic gases that may obscure vision and may also be harmful to both equipment and human beings. Low Smoke Halogen Free Cables have the following characteristics:
- Low smoke : When the cable is on fire, it does not liberate large volume of dense black smoke , improve safety in areas where there are limited means of escape in the event of an emergency
- Halogen free : When the cable is on fire, it does not emit any halogen gas, these are acidic and will attack equipment and human beings. LSF Cable have a significant reduced tendency to propagate fire.
On the market, Low Smoke Halogen Free Cables of CADIVI are of sizes : 1 ; 1,5 ; 2,5 ; 4 ; 6 ; 8 ; 10 ; 11 ; 14 ; 16 mm2. |
