Instructions for using CADIVI’s cables in bulding or house

III/ CADIVI’s CABLES TYPE USED IN BUILDING OR HOUSE :

III.1Cadivi’s cable type :

1. Duplex cables ( Fig.1) are used for main-line (one –phase, two- wires) from the pole out door to the serviceentrance head.
The cables are of two cores, concentric stranded annealed conductor
There are two kinds of duplex cable:
 Du-CV : PVC insulated , Max. working temperature is 700C .
 Du-CX : XLPE insulated , Max. working temperature is 900C.

2. Quadruplex cable (Fig.2) are used for main-line (three –phase, four- wires) from the pole outdoor to the serviceentrance head.The cables are of four cores, concentric stranded annealed conductor
There are two kinds of quardruplex cable:

• Qu-CV : PVC insulated , max. working temperature is 700C
• Qu-CX : XLPE insulated , max. working temperature is 900C

3. Service Entrance cable - Meter cable – Muller cable (Fig. 3, 4) :
* Classification versus number of cores :
- Two cores
- Four cores
* Classification versus insulated material
DK-CVV : copper conductor, PVC insulation , aluminum tape for electricity anti-pilferage, PVC sheath. Max. working temperature is 700C.
DK-CXV : copper conductor, XLPE insulation , aluminum tape for electricity anti-pilferage, PVC sheath. Max. working temperature is 900C.

4. VC wire (Fig.5) : is solid copper conductor, PVC insulation. Max. working temperature is 70oC, wires used as power transmission and distribution.
